A wedding planner can seem like a luxury when you are looking at hiring one. The price tag can seem hefty; however, it is completely worth every penny. Yes, I know that I’m a wedding planner and may be a bit biased. Plus there are ways to utilize a planner through consultation that doesn’t have to break the bank. Below are 5 times when you need to consider hiring a wedding planner.
When you don’t have a lot of time…
Between your work, family, and social life, you don’t have a lot of leftover time. And unless you want to dedicate your lunch breaks, evenings, and weekends to wedding planning, you need some help. You will still have to make some decisions and do a few tasks, but someone will be piloting the project, watching your budget, and bringing together your wedding team.
When you have ideas in mind and can’t make them a reality…
Wedding planners can help bring your vision to life. We have the tools and connections to take an idea from inception to reality. And on top of it, we can manage the logistics behind this project.
When the details get overwhelming
A lot of details go into a wedding – more than you can probably imagine. When all of the details that you have to consider start to creep up, the overwhelm can start to creep up too. A wedding planner can make suggestions on these details and help you make some of these decisions. As we get to know our clients, we can also come up with ideas to make your wedding special.
When the stress takes over…
Sometimes things go off the track during wedding planning. It can be a small thing or it can be something larger. Having a wedding planner means that you have someone on the frontline of any problems. If anything happens before the wedding day, they will handle all of the stress of dealing with the situation. And if something happens on the wedding day, they work with your wedding team to iron out any wrinkles. You won’t have to deal with this stress fully on your own. You will always have someone to lean on.
When you hit a road block…
If at any time during your wedding planning process you hit a road block and don’t know what to do next, you can always approach a planner for advice. Hire them for an hour, talk out the road block, maybe have the planner do some of the work, and then get back on the road.
If you're into beautiful weddings, behind-the-scenes, and you'd like to get married in Calgary or the Rockies, you've come to the right place.
