Heidi and Nolan's wedding was a party!

The Canadian Rockies hosted their guests from all over Canada and the USA at The Malcolm Hotel in Canmore.

The Malcolm Hotel provides a gorgeous backdrop especially with the mountains peaking through. The grand windows are epic in the Edinburgh Ballroom and provide a grand effect even when the curtains are closed. The best part of the day was hearing the stories that their VIPs brought to the wedding. How they first, how their father's met for the first time, and all of their hopes and dreams for the future. It was an incredibly beautiful day - even if it was a bit hot!

Heidi and Nolan came to me with a vision of a black, white, and champagne wedding that would fit the grandeur of the space. We worked to bring this together by using white as the base and adding in black and champagne accents. When you look at their centrepieces, you can see the delicate white flowers paired with white tablecloths and the black flatware and chargers, and champagne napkins adding a little pop. Even at the ceremony, the white flowers popped off of the black arch to add a dramatic effect that complements the beautiful scenery.
